Patmos. An island of wild beauty in one of Greeces most beautiful corners, Dodecanese. The so-called Jerusalem of the Aegean, constituted the setting for the writting of the Book of Revelation by St John the Theologian, over 1900 years ago. Built around St.John's Monastery, Chora embraces this significant cornerstone of Christianity with unique samples of the Aegean architectural style. One of them is the Gazi Mansion, built over 350 years ago, which is considered today to be an ideal destination for the summer vacations.

Welcome to Archontariki.....

A typical sample of elegant Aegean architecture. Archontariki impresses its visitor at first sight. As the visitor enters his eye may catch a fine glimpse of the large stone sparkles leading to the mansion's terrace and garden and the artchamber of the rooms, wandering into the white of the external walls and the red of the traditional ceramic floor. The daylight lingers trough every part of the entrance hall and the room balconies, and the distinctive arificial illumination creates a unique scenery of calmness and harmony for the visitor.
